J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series is just a fantastic display of her artistic qualities, excellent imaginative prowess and superb literary brilliance. She has imagined everything just out of this world. I was never a fan of western literature but when I read my first Harry Potter book in my sophomore year at school I got truly lost in that magical world.
My favourite
character in the Magical series is that of Professor Albus Dumbledore. He
depicts a larger than life persona throughout his journey. The powerful,
controlled, justified and caring demeanour of his character makes him a class
apart. Every possession of his; from the half moon spectacled eyes to the long
white beard conveys a sense of utmost maturity with a positive impact on
the readers. He is the one, who has very tactfully played a major role in linking
the first six books of the Potter series. As a commanding character he has a
strong hold over his compatriots, colleagues and students. Even the antagonist
Dark Lord Voldemort fears the presence of Dumbledore. His character is simple
yet so versatile. His style of remaining calm and composed at even the most
adverse times is what attracts the readers. He seems very wise, kind and benevolent.
