That girl

...I just saw her on the gates of her house while she was laughing very cheerfully over something. May be; it was a silly prank of her brother which made her laugh so nicely. Her looks are really natural which can't be explained in words. No combination of adjectives is enough to narrate her charismatic persona.

The major striking point of her outlook is that she is significantly taller than most girls of her age group. She is slim with very attractive eyes. When dressed in white, she looks more like an angel descended straight from heavens. Sometimes I feel I am connected to her with a unique mystic bond.

This quiet and nice evening, where sun is slowly turning down his head and disappearing into the shed has left some precious, delicate and untouched feelings about her in my mind. This type of disturbance was never before. Although we are pretty much unfamiliar, I felt that I knew her from ages.

Very far away, I could see a small orange circle meeting slowing with the straight line of the horizon. The sunset brings darkness, which brings to the mind; hopelessness with traces of disappointment and defeat. But still the small moon and its tiny companions; the stars keep our hopes alive and remind us that fazed pieces of joy and hope are not far away. During the whole night, they keep us reminding that if the world at present is filled with pessimism and dampness, tomorrow again there will be a new day, a new raising, a new rising, a new beginning, a new start, a new inauguration, a new journey...

Yes We Can!

The core components of a country are its citizens. They continuously work together contributing in the progress of the society and are themselves responsible for proper functioning of the democracy. All the fundamentals rights and duties listed in the constitution should be given utmost priorities in the day today life.
But in reality, people hardly practice the most important tool at their disposal i.e. right to vote for electing fair and responsible representatives. We always talk about high inflation rates, corruption and scams which are terrorizing everybody in the country but have we ever thought that what we can do at our own level to fight these problems? Everyday a new scam is revealed, a new corruption story finds the headlines of the newspaper and televisions news channels but we just discuss these things for a while and then forget them. Today, we have enough time to go to McDonalds, KFCs and PVRs but when it comes to cast the all important vote, we have a very unjustified answer – ‘we don’t have enough time’ or ‘our vote won’t make a difference.’ Is that the end of our rights and duties? Can’t we do something to correct it? Well of course we can. The constitution has provided us with a right which comes into play as soon as we reach the 18 year old mark i.e. the right to vote.
So do you have a voter ID card? If not then what all steps have you taken in the direction to make one? Do you really cast your vote? A responsible citizen is answerable to all these questions. If we really want to bring a change around us then we should ourselves first become the change.
